Na Ye Kim

President

Hello delegates!

I am Na Ye Kim, a junior attending the International School of Tianjin. It is my utmost honor to serve you as the President of the General Assembly 3 in BEIMUN XXXIII.

For BEIMUN XXXIII, I will be focusing on the issue of "Safeguarding cultural sites from destruction and looting during times of conflict”. Recognizing how deliberate destruction of cultural heritage weakens historical legacy and cultural identity of the targeted regions, it is crucial that adequate solutions are implemented to preserve humanity’s cultural legacy to future generations.

As we embark on the start of this journey, I encourage all delegates to step out of their comfort zones and expand their perspectives on global social, humanitarian, and cultural affairs through fruitful debates in General Assembly 3.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. See you all in January!

Thanks,
Na Ye
