Hi everyone! I'm Jenna Lee and am currently a junior at Singapore American School in my 5th year of MUN participation. Upon chairing, delegating, and being part of the Secretariat Team in various conferences, I’m honored to serve as Deputy President in ENV for the duration of BEIMUN. Having begun MUN as a mere 7th grader, I hope to incentivize aspiring delegates to gain confidence in their debating skills and to bolster the speaking abilities of already advanced delegates. The ENV committee is an important learning opportunity to discuss a variety of climate-related issues, especially considering that its range of topics to be discussed are expansive. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and assisting in cultivating your passion for MUN!

Welcome to BEIMUN XXXIII! I am Crystal Ra, a junior at the International School of Tianjin, and I am honored to serve as your Chair for the Environmental Commission. I view chairing not simply as managing debate, but as a moral responsibility that reflects this year’s theme, Virtue Attracts Resonance. True authority in diplomacy arises from integrity, not titles, and my goal is to foster a committee where fairness, respect, and honesty guide every exchange.
This year, our focus on the environmental impacts of artificial intelligence demands both precision and ethical awareness. The issues before us require delegates who are willing to think critically, question assumptions, and ground their arguments in both scientific understanding and moral clarity.
