Deputy President
Dear ECOSOC Delegates,
My name is Donna (Ruotong) Li, and it is an honor to serve as the Deputy President of the ECOSOC for BEIMUN XXXIII. Currently, I am a 10th-grade student at Beijing World Youth Academy, and this marks my second year participating in MUN, with BEIMUN XXXIII being my second consecutive BEIMUN conference. My passion for MUN ignited at BEIMUN XXXII, where I served as the delegate of the USA in ECOSOC, addressing the issue of “corruption and inequality in the distribution of new technologies in LEDCs”.
For this session, I will be co-chairing the topic of “Improving Technological Literacy in LEDCs”. In a world increasingly shaped by technology, bridging the digital literacy gap is not just a matter of progress—it is a cornerstone of inclusive growth, empowering marginalized communities to access various opportunities. I can’t wait to see your distinct viewpoints, innovative solutions, and unwavering dedication to turning these discussions into action. Regardless of your experience level—whether you are an MUN pro or raising your placard for the first time—your voice is invaluable in this committee. Every perspective enriches our dialogue and brings us closer to equitable solutions.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out via email.
See you in BEIMUN XXXIII!!!
Best regards,
Donna (Ruotong) Li
